GRAF.EL srl was born in 1980 for the distribution of telephone cables in Lombardia, and after it has extended its activity also in the field of data transmission and optical fibres so that it became its main activity. It was always been a NEXANS (ex Alcatel Cable) distributor and it has signed a distribution contract with plasticavi Italana for several years. The products distribution of two of the most important cable producer in Italy allowed GRAF.EL to increase its competitiveness, both in prices and in availability.

The company distributes both common telephone cables for internal laying (in all capacities) and cables for external laying, which are armoured and filled with jelly against dampness; besides this it handle coaxial cables and paired cables for telephone station according to the rules established by of Telecom Italia and by other new telephone companies. GRAF.EL lead the way in data transmission, handling cables in Cat.5 and Cat.5-Enhanced also in potentialities of 25, 50 and 100 pairs and cables in Cat.6 and 7 according to current draft, all with PVC or LSZH sheath. Concerning optical fibres, are available both singlemode and multimode fibres in different type: loose and tight, for internal or external use, with different kinds of armour and in different potentialities. Moreover GRAF.EL can handle special cables in order to client's request.

The need for offering a better and more and more complete service, as the nowadays market requires, led the company to sign distribution contracts with some leader company in the field:
- 3M Italia: for cabling in optical fibres Volition
- 3M Italia Telecomunicazioni: for paired cabling
and components for telephone switch
- NEXANS: for paired and fibre optic cabling
- ELIFRA: Rack 19"
- FLUKE: for LAN certification and network control instruments.

The company owns premises for 1300 sq.m., divided between offices and warehouse, where are stored all handled products in order to be able to fill any order in as less time as possible.

To guarantee its customers more and more about the seriousness of his work and about the quality of its products, GRAF.EL obtained the ISO 9002 certification (certification number 9160.GRAF) in 1998 and in September 2002 the ISO 9001 (2002 edition).
